“Canuck Place encourages each child to ‘embrace life’ and believes in enhancing the quality of whatever time a child may have left by empowering them to live fully and joyfully.” – Canuck Place Children’s Hospice
A few blogs back I mentioned about my ancestors, and on Sat. May 24th, 2014, I had the chance to attend the mother and father’s day celebration dinner with my second family!
My favourite hobby is dancing, especially when I am with people that I care about.
On Fri. May 16th, my team competed at Dancity 2014 at Windermere Secondary, Vancouver BC. We did not receive any awards, but we did receive lots of experience and new skills.
Hi there! How’s it going? :D
Recently, just for convenience and for fun, I created a business card for myself. I love designing, sketching, and any other artsy projects, so this wasn’t particularly challenging but it did take me a long time.
I used Pages by Apple to design this, although my digital art geek friends probably would have suggested Photoshop. I love the properties Photoshop has, but the simplicity of Pages was what attracted me to use it.
Besides, I am still a newbie to PS, so it would probably take me even longer to create this masterpiece I am about to show you.
On Saturday, May 10th, I attended Teen Fest – Vancouver 2014 at Vancouver Curling Club. I chose to take part in this event because, as Miss TEENAGE Burnaby 2014, I knew this would be the perfect event for me to get to know local TEENS.
This blog is an extension to the last blog, but I thought it was appropriate to separate them because I had a lot more to talk about. This event triggered a great deal of my interest on my family history.
