I could not believe it was our last fitness class already!
After a month and a half of fitness classes, we were at our final day with Danny, our yoga instructor, as well as Tony, the Anytime Fitness manager. We learned a great variety of yoga poses to stretch out our limbs, and how to use almost all of the main equipment in the weight room.
My favourite pose was one that stretched my upper back, one of the tightest parts of my body. The pose required me to bend forward while maintaining straight legs that were separated front and back. I would then twist inwards and look up to get a good deep pull in my back muscles. The most important tip I learned from the yoga sessions was to breathe at all times. This might sound simple, but most of the time we forget to breathe when we are too focused with properly doing the poses! Thank you to Danny for being a wonderful yoga instructor!
On the other hand, my favourite equipment was a machine that would tighten my bottoms XD. To use the machine, I must kick back a weighted bar, similar to a donkey kick. My muscles were all sore after 3 reps of 10, and I thank Tony for introducing this new machine to us!
